I’ve played the new updated version loads, but it TERRIFIES ME! The eaggle i can handle, the fudgen FOX is just… i think he comes around WAAAY to often. also, IS there away to get away from the grizzly? besides avoiding the mountains, I mean. I escaped ONCE but the bear’s so fast! love the game, but, uh, I think $20 is a lot, for this game and for Paws (which I havent bought yet) but then again, im a teen and have no idea how much it costs to make a game such as this anyway. LOVE IT P.S. I also just found out a little fact. The other Lynx you meet is your mother.

Shelter 2 was an experience that i’ve never had before. It is the most beautiful and biological simulator I have ever played. The greatest feature was the constellations and the special thanks.

I wish I could give it a better rating but honestly, the game lags so bad its not even playable. I spent $15 on the game and I would like for it to be enjoyable. It needs and update… Bad.

This game is really beautiful. The scenery is gorgeous and I love how the day and night time changes. It’s something very unique and very diffierent from all the games out there. I never imaged I would care for 4 virutal cubs but through the game, I got quite attached to them. I’d hunt rabbits for them and then eventually took down a deer. This game is truly an emotional game which almost brought me to tears. Very well done. For $15, it’s a steal.

The game is fun but will soon become highly repetitive without updates with new features. I would like to be able to run into other Lynx families. Establish territory, etc.

Very unique graphics. Very unique subject. Good music. A little single threaded as some have mentioned - the main activity is catching prey. Finding water, locating new shelters, meeting other animals would make it more interesting. Others have said performance lags. I’d have to say their Mac lags. Game is flicker-free on my quad-core iMac w/dedicated graphics card. Don’t expect highly graphical games to run well on the new 12” MacBooks, MacBook Airs.

Was amazing but I would love an update and it would be cool if when you had kittens, they were not always the same color or maybe not always 4?

The controls are simply YUCK.

My 8 year old daughter begged me to let her use her allowance to purchase this game for her last night. After spending her hard earned $19.99, she completed the game in less than 2 hours last night. Am I missing something? Ive played hundreds of computer, console and iOS games for more than 35 years and Ive never heard of a $20 game taking less than 2 hours to finish, especially from a gamer with limited experience like my daughter. I thought that maybe she was overlooking something so this morning she fired the game up again, walked me thru the menus, started a new game and once again solved it in well under 2 hours. If the game was a few dollars it would be OK since she enjoyed playing it, but $20 for a quick and repetitive game like this is extortion.

I actually thought the game was beautiful, if a little on the easier side. I like the idea of it a lot. Problem is, the controls are difficult to modify and it’s not for use with a trackpad. After trying to reset the controls and finding no way to do that - even after writing to the creators for help twice (with no response) - it’s not something I can even use anymore. Disappointing for what seemed to be an enjoyable start to the game.

I was good but only one ? to who maked it can you plz make it that your cubs dont have to die if they are alive i was playing they it randomly rain then there was lighting they it killed my fav cub pumpkin :( it is a good game you should get it only 2 times i laged but not a lot

Beautiful game. Bravo to the studio, I absolutely love it every time I play. However I wish I had bought it on steam because I can’t play it with my xBox controller, even though I can play steam games with an xBox controller on my Mac, and steam says this is in fact controller compatible. Please fix and I will be eager to raise my rating to 5 stars.
